A mini move is a smaller job that still needs a proper moving team. You may have a sofa and dining table to collect, several items to move into storage or the contents of one bedroom to relocate.
These jobs can be difficult to manage without the right vehicle, equipment and lifting help. Hiring a trailer, asking friends or trying to move heavy furniture alone can quickly become time-consuming.
Our mini moving service gives you two trained movers, a medium-sized truck, protective blankets and trolleys. We load, transport and unload the agreed items, then place them where you want them at the destination.
Mini Moving Prices
Our standard Auckland moving rate is $110 per hour excluding GST. This includes two trained movers and a fully equipped medium-sized truck. A one-off $50 call-out fee excluding GST also applies.
The final cost depends on the time required. The item list, travel distance, parking, stairs, lifts, dismantling and carrying distance can all affect the total.

Single-Item And Small Furniture Moves
Some jobs involve one large item that will not fit into a car or cannot be lifted safely without help — sofas, dining tables, bed frames, wardrobes, appliances or large televisions.
Send us the item's dimensions and a photo when requesting your quote, along with photos of stairs, narrow doors or difficult access. An item may look manageable inside a room but still be too large for the doorway, lift or staircase — measurements let us determine whether dismantling is required before moving day.
Internal Furniture Moves & Renovation Prep
You do not need to be changing address to book our movers. We can move furniture from one room to another, upstairs or downstairs, into a garage or sleepout, or away from renovation areas — then back into place once the work is finished.
Tell us about stairs, narrow halls, new flooring, freshly painted walls and any furniture that may need to be dismantled. The route must be clear before our movers begin — remove rugs, loose cables and small furniture that could block the path. If flooring is freshly laid, check with your installer when it can safely take furniture weight.

Buying furniture through Trade Me, Facebook Marketplace or a private seller can leave you with one problem: getting it home. We do not assess the condition, quality or completeness of items purchased from third parties — check the item yourself before collection.
